I have always lived in St Helens. I was brought up and raised in Rainhill where I went to St Lukes Primary School and then onto St Edmund Arrowsmith which was located on Scotchbarn Lane. When I was younger I also played for Rainhill Rockets Football Club for many years.
I worked for HSBC in St Helens and all over Liverpool for just under ten years and then more recently Yorkshire Building Society for four years. This taught me that customer service cannot be over estimated, just making people happy is the best job satisfaction you can get.
I love what I do. I find it fulfilling working for myself, and the fact I can be there from start to finish for my clients is how so many people I have helped move became personal friends.

St Helens is packed with great food and drink venues. There are plenty to chose from! It doesn't matter what your favourite food is, St Helens will cater for that. St Helens town centre is going through a regeneration process and if you haven't seen it for yourselves, head onto the councils website to take a look. The plans they have produced will transform the St Helens high street into a bustling vibrant town.
If the bars and restaurants are not your thing and you prefer to be outdoors there are hundreds of walks you can find. You're never too far away from being surrounded by the tranquility of fields if walking is your thing.
St Helens is perfectly positioned between Liverpool and Manchester so if you are looking to head further out to a major city then you couldn't be better equipped than heading down the M62 or A580.
My favourite thing about St Helens has to be the people. Yes we've got sports stadiums, many coffee shops, cinema, fast food, supermarkets, restaurants and bars but for me it's the people that make the town. From the Facebook group People of St Helens to other community groups if you ever need help there is always someone to offer a helping hand.
