Barton-Under-Needwood Estate Agents
Let me introduce myself. I’m Victoria Sylvester, your local EweMove personal Estate Agent.
I moved here from Harrogate, North Yorkshire with my family in 2017. It's the perfect place for family life and we haven’t looked back!
I started my Estate Agency career in 2003. Which for obvious reasons, wasn’t the best time to get into the industry!
In 2006, I had a change of career and joined HSBC where I followed a path through business banking through to corporate banking for a period of 10 years. This helped me broaden my skillset and experiences and provided me with the confidence to start my own business and be my own boss.
When we were looking to sell our house in Harrogate, we received a leaflet through the door from a local Estate Agent that I had never heard of called EweMove. We loved the sheep logo and was impressed by the personal service that Mark Davis offered including carrying out all of the viewings. We knew straight away that our house sale would be in safe hands whilst we were both out at work all day. We were right, and within just two weeks we had received an offer which was higher than we thought we would achieve.
So when we had settled into our new home in Barton I started to think about setting up my own estate agency business and EweMove seemed the obvious choice. I visited the team at the Sheep Pen and the rest is history in the making.

About Barton-Under-Needwood
One of the main attractions has to be Barton Marina where you will find a range of boutique shops, Red Carpet Cinema, cafes and The Waterfront Pub with fabulous views across the marina.
There are beautiful canal side walks connecting the local villages taking you from Barton Marina, through the quaint village of Alrewas to Fradley Junction, one of the busiest places on the waterways with cafes, a pub and the ever popular Fradley Pool Nature Reserve.
One of my other favourite villages is Rolleston-On-Dove located between Tutbury (home of the famous Castle) and Stretton, where you might find me sitting in the beer garden of the Spread Eagle on a sunny day or enjoying the fish & chips at The Jinnie. There are some lovely properties in this area. Take a drive through and see for yourself, can you find Hall Grounds?
Nearby attractions include the Adventure Farm in Tatenhill offering a great day out for al the family, Tutbury Castle, The National Memorial Arboretum near Alrewas, and for the thrill seekers why not make a short trip to Drayton Manor Theme Park!
Did you know that we are also home to the training ground for the England football team at St George's Park? Join the gym or pop for a swim at the Hilton Hotel and you just might meet the team!
The renowned John Taylor High School is a huge draw for families looking to move to the villages of Barton-Under-Needwood, Alrewas, Yoxall, Walton-On-Trent, Rangemore, Tatenhill and Edingale.
Without a doubt, Barton where I live is a highly sought after village thanks to it's array of pubs plus a posh Wine Bar called Vin-X which has the most fabulous wines, and a host of facilities including the Holland Sports Club, Bowls Cub, Co-Op, takeaways, boutique shops, hairdressers, doctors, dentists, plus many more. Not to mention the excellent local schools including the renowned John Taylor High School. It's no wonder I get so many requests for new properties in this area!
