Anston Estate Agents
Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm Oz, your local EweMove Sales and Lettings Agent. Who am I? Well I've had a long career, not always in property. I enjoyed an illustrious law enforcement career that started way back in 1984. I spent 21 years with the South Yorkshire Police- when I left I was Chief Inspector of Operations in Barnsley where I became a leading light in the Black Police Association. Something very close to my heart. After I left South Yorkshire Police, I joined Merseyside Police as Superintendent, where I spent another 9 years. For the last 6 years I have been loving life as your friendly local EweMove Estate Agent in Sheffield! One of my most proudest moments was being featured in HGTV’s top rating House Hunters International as the presenting agent, twice! Some might think it was an unusual move, from Policing to Estate Agency, but for me it’s perfect. I’ve always been very much a ‘people person’ and selling a house is a very personal thing. EweMove are rated as one of the most trusted estate agents in the whole country according Trustpilot so it couldn’t be a better fit. My wife and I have lived in the Dinnington area for some time now, outside of work I enjoy martial arts, volleyball, weight training, walking, general fitness and travelling. Now it's your turn, tell me about yourself!
About Anston
Anston is an amaing place to live, we've got so much here. I love the semi-rural feel, with walking, cycling, etc in vast woodland and green spaces. The regeneration of the ex-coal field sites means more employment in the area and with the Advance Manufacturing Park within 30 minutes drive on the Sheffield Parkway, more people are drawn to the area – including internationally! Anston provides a wide range of local amenities nearby, with its excellent selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. For anyone who enjoys a quiet drink with their family, then there are a range of pleasant eateries and pubs nearby too; so no worries if you don't fancy cooking or it is not your forte! I always find a lot of people move to Anston because it provides better value for money in terms of properties, so many people are choosing to live here rather than Sheffield, where property prices are considerably higher. But with great transport links, you're just a stones throw away from the city centre. What's not to love?!
